Where AM I?!

I feel like that Johnny Cash song, "I've been everywhere, man". Okay, so here's a little window to my world of late: On Monday 02 February 2009, I woke up in Afghanistan. On Tuesday 03 February, I went to sleep in Dubai. On Thursday 05 February, I went to sleep in Baghdad at Camp Liberty. On Saturday 07 February, I woke up on an charted SkyLink Arabia jet plane sitting on a runway and had no idea where I was. A few minutes later I learned, thanks to the flight crew, I was at Joint Base Ballad (formerly "Anaconda" - infamous for the multiplex movie theater and olympic sized swimming pool ... neither of which I was able to sample). On Monday ... well, you get the picture. I've been everywhere, man!

Everywhere, that is, except my ultimate destination which is Camp Taji. I should be flying there now instead of sitting here chatting with you but there is a sand storm here in Baghdad (i'm about 90% sure I'm in Baghdad :-) so the helicopters are not flying.

Haven't even had time for a cinnabon!

Cira,

You don't know me but I have been entrusted as the keeper of your stuff at Camp Taji. My name is Kevin and I am eagerly awaiting your arrival. I had sent an email to your KBR account awhile back and then through crack investigative techniques learned that you are on medical leave (hope all is well). Further utilizing my skills I was able to find your blog on the net...cool blog. So I am now beginning to wonder if indeed you will make it here. If you don't, are we allowed to crack open the Gorilla's and divvy up the booty?
